The Collectors' Cabinet

The Collectors’ Cabinet display gives museum visitors the chance to see extraordinary objects loaned from public and private horological collections. The display is temporary and themed around a particular subject. The current display celebrates the royal clockmaker Benjamin Lewis Vulliamy, a key founder of the Clockmakers’ Museum.

Object handling

Get hands on in the Museum with our handling collection. Learn about the technology behind clocks and watches, and discover some of the stories they hold. Run in conjunction with the Science Museum, these volunteer-led drop-in sessions last for three hours on a variety of dates. Please follow the link to the Science Museum to find out when.
