Into the Skies with XIII Squadron

29 July 2021

On 29th July, the Master, Mistress and Clerk travelled to RAF Waddington for the presentation of a new Squadron Standard, a rare opportunity, happening only every 25 years. As part of the presentation ceremony, at precisely 1102 two Typhoons flew overhead, aptly demonstrating the strong connection between the Squadron's work and the art and mystery of time-keeping.

After the presentation, the Master signed the Affiliation, presenting Wing Commander Kat Ferris OBE with a Clockmakers' plaque for the base, followed by lunch in the Officers' Mess.

The Company will be presenting an annual prize to the Squadron member who has displayed the greatest precision in the discharge of their primary role.
