Six months into the Master's year, the Master and Clerk were finally able to attend an evening event together, joining the Scientific Instrument Makers for their annual banquet.
Despite the inevitable masks, sanitisation and social distancing, it was a most enjoyable occasion, and reassuring to see the first green shoots of recovery in the City.
The banquet took place at the Haberdashers' Hall. The fine banner behind the Master and Clerk is adorned with gold buttons, in illustration of the craft of haberdashery.
