Swapping Carpenters' Hall for Zoom, and followed by a moving service from Bevis Marks Synagogue, the evening saw the Master welcomed in great style, accompanied by wonderful music both from the Choir of the Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue, and from young musicians from Chethams School of Music.
The Common Serjeant His Honour Richard Marks QC made a powerful speech as guest of honour.
Even virtually, the Company continues to flourish, root and branch.
