The Master's Virtual Outing

20 June 2020

Master Joanna Migdal masterminded the company's inaugural virtual outing.

Kicking off with a live virtual visit to the Master's local distillery, Six O'clock Gin in Thornbury, after lunch the assembled crowd were treated to a fascinating presentation about Acton Court, and short history of the building, followed by the World Premier of And The Sun Stood Still, by Dava Sobel, recorded by members of the Company, followed by the chance to ask questions of the playwright.

As evening drew in, food historian Marc Meltonville revealed the mysteries of Tudor Cuisine, which many of the guests had chosen to replicate in their own homes.

The Tudor feast continued late into the night.
