Painting Time lecture

This talk explored one of the most compelling aspects of painting; how artists over the centuries have faced the challenge of representing time in all its different dimensions - experiential, physical, biological and spiritual - in a medium that is characterised by stillness, with works by Leonardo da Vinci, Edvard Munch, Marc Chagall, Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso.
