Lectures and events

The Clockmakers’ Company is part of a broad network of horological institutions, most of which run extensive event programmes. Some offer training courses. Follow the links below to reach these organisations:

The Company’s own annual programme features the Harrison Lecture, the Dingwall Beloe Lecture in association with the British Museum, and the Four Liveries Lecture in a partnership with the Lightmongers’ Company, the Scientific Instrument Makers’ Company, and the Spectacle Makers’ Company.

The Clockmakers’ Company’s formal affiliate, the Antiquarian Horological Society, offers lectures, events and study tours around the UK and overseas, with its flagship London Lecture Series a highlight in the horological learning calendar.

The George Daniels Lecture, held in the historic horological heartland of Clerkenwell, attracts a wide audience from the industry and beyond, including students from City University.
